Through a Bird’s Eye – Deb Bandyopadhyay

Jan 29, 2021 | Fiction

When I wondered about a question on a gloomy morning,
A magical blue pond full of jumping fishes appeared in my backyard,
I plunged in and ancient tracks of frozen tires showed me the way…
To an empty truck that found its play,
To a blue park yet to be filled,
To a bridge yet to be crossed,
To my tightly knitted neighbors whom I’ve never seen.
