Collaborative Novel Translation Retreat

We are happy to annonce our first collaborative novel translation retreat under the mentorship of acclaimed translator V. Ramaswamy.

This retreat will focus on translating two Bengali novels.

  • Chatuspathi by Sahitya Academy winner author Swapnamay Chakraborty
  • Charanbhumi by acclaimed novelist Bhagirath Mishra

Four participants for the retreat Rituparna Mukherjee, Pritha Banerjee, Sukti Sarkar and Suchetana Pal will work in pairs on each text.
